We’re excited to welcome you to a brand-new academic year at Leeds, and we’ve got a great line-up of events planned for Freshers’ Week 2026–27!

Whether you’re completely new to LPI or you’re already part of our think tank, our Freshers’ Week events are the perfect opportunity to meet new people, get involved and find out what LPI ia about.

Freshers Fair: Tuesday, 22 September

Come and find us at LUU Marquee 39 from 10am-4pm!

This is your chance to meet the LPI team, find out more about what we do and grab your discounted LPI membership. And, of course, there’ll be plenty of opportunities to meet fellow students along the way!

GIAG (Give It A Go): Thursday, 24 September

Join us from 6pm onwards at The Library Pub for our GIAG event!

It’s a relaxed way to meet the LPI community, get involved and see what being part of LPI is all about. No pressure, just come along and give it a go!

Pub Quiz Social: Thursday, 1 October

Fancy putting your knowledge to the test?

Join us at The Library Pub from 7pm onwards for our Pub Quiz Social! Bring your friends, meet new people and get involved in a fun evening with the LPI community.

Whether you’re interested in politics, policy, current affairs, or simply looking to meet new people at university, there’s something for everyone at LPI this Freshers’ Week.
