Founded in the 2025–2026 academic year after a merger between our Energy & Environment and Urban Planning & Transport teams, our Energy & Infrastructure team examines the UK’s transition to a low-carbon economy and the systems needed to support it. From energy security and sustainable transport to grid modernisation and housing retrofits, the team conducts rigorous, cross-sectoral research to inform policy on decarbonisation and infrastructure resilience.
